How can I activate the Performance Monitor and keep it on the desktop OR the Start Menu? For that matter, how can I put ASC7Free on the Start Menu?

In ASC Settings in the General Settings window you can do both these functions. Simply tick the boxes for Open on Windows Startup and Enable Performance Monitor

That was quick WriterJC. :) So enabling Performance Monitor automatically pins it to Start Menu indeed.
