I've uninstalled SmartDefrag (forgot how). However, the files C:\Windows\System32\Drivers\SmartDefragDriver.SYS and C:\Windows\System32\SmartDefragBootTime remain. SmartDefragDriver.sys still loads during startup. Can I safely delete those files?

You can re-install the latest Smart Defrag 3.3 from http://download.iobit.com/defragsetup.exe Then, you can uninstall it by IObit Uninstaller.

 

By the way, could you please tell us why you do not want Smart Defrag? Does it bring you any inconveneince? We will make improvements according to your feedbacks.
