Extremly Slow Scan

Of late, it was noticed that the Advanced System Care complete scan takes almost an hour to complete, even though a scan is followed by another. Tried to contact technical support but the support seems to be only for items related to installation and other related issues. Spent several hours going through forums looking for some solutions. Can anybody help ? (Windows 7 OS, i5 processor, 8GB RAM, Avira pro Antivirus)

Your information is a bit confusing. What do you mean by ..."even though a scan is followed by another"...

How big is your database/filesystem.

Why do you think it is taking too long for a complete scan. What are you using as a reference point.

How long did it previously take for ASC to do a complete scan on your system.

Quick one to this please. Doesn't Avira pose a conflict when installed altogether with ASC? It would also be nice if you can post the total space you consumed on your hard disk.
