Cannot modify file associations

All file associations got reset. Most cannot be assigned correctly.

 

For instance .avi cannot be assigned to BSPlayer. It is stuck

 

Tried from the application, tried from the File systems. Nothing works

 

Also, the folder view is always stuck on thumbnails. Switching it to 'detailed' resets after entering this folder again

Try a system restore to a time before this issue began.

It is also possible that you have set another player to be the default for AVI video files.
