Unfinished defragmenting in Windows 10 build 10162

My C Drive appears nearly full, which is a bit odd since it felt like it was only at 50% a build or two ago. I ran Smart Defrag and noticed about 60% of it was fragmented. After the defragmentation about 4 GB of stuff was defragmented, and that was only about 2% of all the files. The rest was left untouched. Will run again and leave a picture of the results, as I didn't get one the first time.

Besides, please download the tool from http://testdemo.iobit.com/SD4InfoHelper.exe

Then double click to run this tool and click “Save report to Desktop”. You will get a zipped file IObit_Debug_Info.zip on your desktop, please send it to us so that we can get the detailed information to look into.

Looking forward to hearing from you.

Correct me if I'm wrong but defrag only organize the sectors on the disk. But you reported it appeared nearly full, something must be occupying that drive of yours. Try free softwares like Windirstat. That's the one I use when checking which files/folder are huge on my drive. 1.gif

Hi Aerotactics,

This situation is caused by a 120+GB large files on the computer which cannot find continuous space for defrag since the remained free space is only 75GB.

Our product team will work on it and figure this out in next version.

Thanks for your understanding.
