UI opens on wrong user?

I installed ASC 8.4 from one user account on the PC and later tried to run it from another account when the installing account was also logged in. The program UI opened on the installing account, not the one trying to run it! How do I get it to open on the account trying to run it?

Hi jmwhitmire, welcome to IObit Forum! :-)

ASC needs administrative rights to run, does another account have the Administrative rights?

You can try to install it with another account with administrative rights, so it can be opened by that another account.

Cheers.

Actually, the account that installed it does not have admin rights, but Win7 prompted for an admin login to continue and the install went fine. The account trying to run ASC in my post actually is the admin account. The UI does not appear for the admin user, but instead shows up on the screen for the non-admin user.

Tried that first, before posting the question. The UI still appears on the other login.

Have not tried running it when the other user is not logged in. I may get that opportunity eventually.

Finally got the opportunity to try running it with the other account not active and the UI shows up as expected on the admin account. So, the problem occurs only when the installing account is active.
