ASC Pro 9 Not Immediately Responsive After Loading

I recently upgraded from ASC Pro 8 to ASC Pro 9. When I load the program, it becomes unresponsive. I click SCAN, nothing happens. I click "Select All" to choose the other options available, nothing happens. I click Action Center, nothing happens.

 

Then about a minute later, the program starts doing the things I told it to do.

 

I've uninstalled the program, re-downloaded the program, re-installed it, and get the same results.

 

One suggestion posted by Support was that I download demo from http://wikisend.com/download/428640/ASC.exe and replace the version I have on the computer with this new one. Tried that, same results.

 

This is unacceptable behavior from this program that I paid for. I'm tempted to go back to ASC 8 until the fix happens.
