Malware Figther V4 RC Bug/Problem

Hi,

 

I am currently testing the Malware Figther V4 RC. I have found it good so far.

I have encountered only one problem so far. I have tested the Malware figther V4 RC with eicar test file.

The eicar test file was able to be downloaded with out malware figther stoping it what so ever only when i do a full scan of my computer that it find it and detect it as a fake malware. I am wondering if any other malicious program will be able to be bypassed my IMF v4 RC.

 

Here is a screenshot of Virus Total with the ecair test file that i have downloaded.

 

Please fix your scan for programs being downloaded Via internet (chrome, Opera, Edge, IE ect... )

Is IMF supposed to scan downloaded files? Where is this option located?

Currently, we do not have the feature you asked. But I have reported it to our product team. It might be available in the future.
