RAM indication in Performance Monitor

Recommended Posts

When the details are hidden it says, for instance, RAM: 46%.

When expanded it says RAM: 46% 1.57 / 3.44 GB

My computer has two RAM cards, each of them 4G, so it looks to me as though Performance Monitor is reporting data for only one card.

Is that correct? Should it not give figures for 8 GB ?

Hi Syncopator,

Are you running a 32-bit operation System?

Our program could only read 4GB RAM for 32-bit OS so it is suggested that you change to 64-bit OS to show 8 GB RAM.

Thanks.

I would love to, but do you really think I will do that simply to allow your software to work properly? Unless you want to pay for it of course.

Hi Syncopator,

You may misunderstand.

Our program can't help you with that as 32-bit OS could figure 4GB RAM only. So the OS is the key.

Thanks.
