Newest up to date Malwarebytes will not install ASC. Moves installer setup to quarantine. reporting file as a PUP

This is an issue which has occurred between Iobit and Malwarebytes for a long time. There are many posts in the Forum regarding the issue.

In order to install ASC without issues, you must temporarily close Malwarebytes.

Once ASC is installed, you should run Malwarebytes. It will probably Quarantine some ASC files. Open the Quarantine section of Malwarebytes and make a note of the Quarantined

files. You can then tell Malwarebytes to restore them.

Then go to the Ignore/whitelist section of Malwarebytes and place the ASC files/folders in the ignore list. Also include the installer in the ignore list.
