IP Address Protection

Just got a notice from Google that our IP address is being used in a number of places. They advised us to get IP address protection because IP addresses are being stolen and used, nowadays, at an alarming rate. They even suggested a company that could do it for us - at $400 per year.

 

I went ahead and signed up, but have concerns. I have one day to back out.

 

Is this really needed, #1

 

Does Iobit have this ability in what I already own - Iobit Ultimate.

 

Please answer soon, as I need to decide on this.

Sounds to me like you have been scammed. Never heard of google doing such a thing.

You certainly do not need a company for this. There are many free and cheap VPN's available.
