Running, and running, and running....

I have been running Smart Defrag "Fast Optimize" for 36 hours - running at this time. The screen shows a remaining time of "24:45:36". Stats at the bottom of the Smart Defrag screen show 108140 files with 8 fragmented files/dir. It has been "stuck" at eight [8] for the last 8 hours.

 

Any words of advice ?

The timer doesn't work correctly except in "just defrag"

The files the defragment is "hanging" on is probably video files or very large picture files.

Several posts in the forum about it.

Read for instance the thread "Usage of IObit Products" in the Lounge section.

But for now just stop the defragment, close it, configure your settings and start it again and try. To be as safe as possible run a "only defrag" first, then you can try the fast optimize if you encounter no problem.

Also as detailer mentioned - be sure you have enough free space to run a defragmentation,
