Failing to activate Antivirus Protection - manually enable it

Good evening,

I have just purchased Advanced SystemCare.  Previously I had Advanced SystemCare Ultimate but my license ended.

I had to install SystemCare (did not uninstall Ultimate) during this process.

Now I can't enable the Antivirus Protection and I get a message that enabling it failed and to open Windows Defender to manually enable it (screenshot attached).

In my Windows Defender, there is no mention of Advanced SystemCare at all (screenshot attached).

Help please?

When you intially installed ASC Ultimate, Windows Defender automatically disabled it's own anti-virus in order to avoid conflicts

between the two programs.

Now your ASC Ultimate has expired and no longer provides anti-virus protection, so Windows Defender is now telling you that you

have no anti-virus protection and is advising you to switch on it's ( defenders) anti-virus protection. Which you should do immediately.

There is no mention of Advanced Systemcare because it is not an antivirus program.
