Malware Fighter Free 8

I am currently using Malware Fighter Free 8.7 and when 8.8 and now 8.9 came out and I go the IOBIT website to update it, it downloads 8.2 and reinstalls it, which means I need to use Software Update to reinstall 8.7 again, why is this?

How about the section entitled.....Iobit Malware Fighter 8....
