Hi pissedoff,

Thanks for your feedback.

At present, we are partnered with iTop VPN to help promote its product iTop VPN, which can provide private access to the Internet with military-grade protection.

If you do not this program, you can uncheck the checkbox from some app when you install that app.

Anyway, I have forwarded your concern to our product team and market team. They will consider this kind of marketing activities and make a better balance in future.

Have a good time!

I have to echo the comments on this thread having just installed the latest update for Advanced System Care. I unchecked the box for a PDF Reader program to be installed and was surprised to find that both iTop VPN and iTop Screen Recorder had been installed without my consent, there were no boxes to uncheck for these programs

If you continue to install programs during updates without my consent, I will not be renewing my subscriptions to your products.

The boxes for all the software to be installed should be the same brightness and big enough to be seen by anyone who looks at the screen. The software should be an opt-in instead of opt-out. Opt-in requires the person to check the box to have it installed. Opt-out is where the person has to uncheck the box to prevent it from being installed. Any third party software should always be Opt-in. The third party software should have to earn the trust of the person who they want to install their software.

Hi Fezzauk and Redsfan,

Thanks for your feedback and suggestion.

@ Fezzauk, sorry to hear that. You may miss the uncheck box for the other 2 programs. You can check it more carefully. If you are not interested in this program, please uninstall them with our IObit Uninsatller.

@Redsfan, thanks for your suggestion, I will report it to our product team for consideration.

I did not miss them because they were not there and they still aren't, don't patronise me. It has happened again, I will not be renewing.
