Hi avmaksimov-I've been hoping and a lot of us have been asking when IObit is going to include the option to defrag boot files.I can't answer that,but I can offer this (PageDefrag v2.32 by Sysinternals) handy and best of all,free solution in the meantime.

I simply have not found topics about a defragmentation at loading... PageDefrag defragmenting only a file of pumping and register files... And it is necessary defrag all and it is desirable at system loading... Besides, for some reason at me on Vista Home Premium this program cannot open pagefile.sys, therefore and cannot it defrag... Such sensation that PageDefrag is not intended for Vista environment (and how for a long time there was a product last update - confirms this fact!).

 

We will hope well, that the given wish will be considered in the near future!

Although Smart Defrag does not have boot time defragmentaion, you will find many posts concerning Offline (boot time) defragmentation in Think about Defragmentation!!! thread in Lounge section, incuding Vista.
