I have been plagued with a thing called web messenger, I do not want this as I am quite happy with Windows Live messenegr 8.0 How do I get rid of web messenger Phutzer

Have you checked your add-ins in Internet Explorer?

It is possible that you can deactivate it there.

Do you know from whom this web messenger comes?

Did you take a look at the link provided by enoskype??

Hi phutzer

If you write inetcpl.cpl in run - choose the tab programs and then the button check add-ins you should be able to find out if you have the offending web messenger activated - if so you just deactivate it!

well thanks solbjerb and others - my friend tried your solution and although nothing supposedly happened - lol - her messenger is back to normality thanks a lot you really are knowledgeable people phutzer
