Uploading them to virus total isn't going to help anything. I know they are legitimate files. I'm just reporting the false positive in case anyone elese runs into the same thing. Plus I'm letting iobit know just for the sake of updating your definitions.

Possible False Positive [sOLVED by db 1411]

I am copying the IObit report.

Anyone have any answers as to if this is real or a FP?

I have NOT removed it through 360 scan.

KOR-

(I have looked for these files but can not find them. I get a notice that they are not legitimate files in search reply.)

Adding that I have scanned with ESET, HitmanPro, Malwarebytes, SuperAntispyware and I do not get a positive. I am thinking this is a FP.

Every time I scan with IObit's full scan it omes up with these. Something makes me doubt that the virus continually comes back. Using Norton coupled with Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware and CCleaner I am almost positive that I DO NOT have these viruses, and it seems to convenient that they are re-appearing.

Hi, i have the same problem using NOD32 version 4.2. Im in contact with eset and checking if is real or false, far now its false......instead of that i run the scan with malwarebytes and nothing affect the pc, so, for me its a false positive!!!!!

Heres the submited case to eset:

ESET Support Case Update: 488727 - nod 32 4.2 troyan infected

And the answer for now from them, after send a scan and sysinspector to them is:

"I would recommend uninstalling Iobit 360 Security because it does active monitoring of your computer. There could be potential conflicts with ESET that would alter the performance of your computer."

But any news i will keep you inform......

C:\Program Files\OpenOffice.org 3\program\nsldap32v50.dll was scanned online at http://virusscan.jotti.org and http://www.virustotal.com, and came out clean in both scans.

Hi Jim North

Maybe you scan just when we update our definitions version. As your data is still definitions version 1421. Please exit your running program and scan again to see whether you still have this issue.

Hi Jim North,

The smiles come from the default forum punctuations for smilies.

I have corrected them in your post (inserting spaces beteen puctuation).

(:-|)=(: -|)(without the space in between : and -)

(:-D)=(: -D)(without the space in between : and -)

Hi hxin,

It is seen in the below quote from Jim North that that the definition version is 1423!!!

I don't understand how it is understood that the define version is 1421? Is it because the report gives unhendled?

nsldap32v50.dll file issue is supposed to be solved by db 1422. (I don't think db 1422 ever existed though.)
