not being a computer geek,i did a scan on a.s.c and i thought i hit backup,

i have lost all my pictures which took me a few years to accumulate and also

i have webshots screen saver with loads of pictures i have accumulated,they have all disappeared i have the files in my documents but they are all empty,

please oh please does someone know how to get them back,all my family photos have vanished also thank you

Have you checked the recycle bin? Have you attempted the restore function in ASC,or a system restore? Some free file recovery tools are here.

Did you use some of the additional tools to accomplish that?

Please describe the action that lead up to this.

In addition to detailer - be sure that you do not have automatic functions running where the sweeping will empty your recycle bin (untick that option).
