ASC wont run on vista powered laptop

Hi!

 

I can't get Advanced System Care to run correctly on my wife's Toshiba Satelite L300D? The gui is just garbage and the buttons (which are the only gadgets that are viewable) won't do anything. The Os is Windows Vista.

 

I've tried re-installing. Different compatibility settings etc. to no avail.

 

Help anyone?

Nope. It's plugged into the wall.

Yes. Clean install. And it gets all the power it needs. ASC starts up, but everything in the GUI except the buttons (which seem scattered) is all messed up. I can't read any text or anything. Can't click on anything to save my life.

Do we understand the same about a clean install - did you delete the folder after uninstall? :-)

Lots of programs leave things behind when uninstalled so its best to delete the folder in your program files. Whenever I uninstall something I always delete the folder
