THE NEW DOWNLOAD HAS SOMETHING WRONG WITH IT AND HAS COMPONENTS MISSING.

IVE NEVER HAD ANY PROBLEM WITH AN UPDATE TILL NOW SO COULD SOMEONE TELL ME WHATS GOING ON.?

Hi starman

If it like several others that have posted here is about unins000.msg - the false positive from McAfee.

Then it should be solvable by getting the latest definitions from McAfee update and then try downloading ASC v. 3.3.4. again and install it.

you can't update without the 001.msg file to put back in ASC so it will uninstall.

Don't you have it in the quarantine list in McAfee, from where you should be able to restore it?
