What do these two settings do?

I'm guessing the second one just shows a popup when it blocks something.. but what does the first one do when the signature and heuristics protection is turned on/off in the protection tab (on the left)?

I assume the 2nd one shows you what the 1st one does and if the 1st one is turned off then there is nothing for the 2nd one to show than

I had some trouble with the program so I am waiting for a more stable version now. Therefore I can't test it for you :-)

"monitor and intercept all threats" sounds like real time protection on/off, but then theres the on/off in the protect tab as well.. hmm..

Hi fuzzydize

Should be easy to check. Find a tracking cookie and place it in the Restore bin, then run the settings in all modes and check it with both 360 and ASC scan, then restore it it and run all settings again.

Will take 8-10 checks I think, but it won't take long.

I used the spycar suite as real time test files..

IS360 stopped them all, regardless of whether the "Monitor and intercept all threats" setting was on or off.

So it appears it doesn't do anything.. ;-)
