(DL GUI) - I forced deleted my dl gui. now my task-bar says; things name changed or deleted.

I am afraid to turn off my laptop (I hope it doesn't crash and do a reboot).

I have a lot of research material for my RR history website.

I am not sure, what do you think? Maybe I can do a backup to a new backup drive? (before this laptop shuts down)

I am using windows8 (because I have a slow laptop).

I can pull-up some of the things using the start menu.

I can not find the history of the deletion or the restore point in (free uninstaller 13)?

I found this file using search everything (had to reinstall "everything search");

C:\Users\Gateway\AppData\Roaming\IObit\IObit Uninstaller\Log\CUsersGatewayAppDataRoamingMicrosoftWindowsRecentYoutubeDLGUI.zip.lnk.history

in the this path; C:\Users\Gateway\AppData\Roaming\IObit\IObit Uninstaller\Log

I guess the real question is; will this delete my files of just affect the search icons?

As a further note; I do have a backup-drive with my documents and desktop,

it was backed-up about two weeks ago.

Maybe backing up to a new back-up drive; I can add the new stuff to the old.

But I have concerns about the missing "DL gui" messing things up.

I am going to switch to a new 2019 laptop,

which I have only added word into it and have not used.)

(because the old lap top was too familiar, I knew how use to the old programs

and I knew where everything was.)

Unrelated PS; I made the old laptop (i5-321MCPU with 8gig RAM

(that is the maximum ram), run like new by adding; a one terabit solid drive,

and adding the recommend 10 gig "free space" that is 10%.)

Hi,

When software is deleted, the shortcut on the corresponding taskbar will indeed prompt that things names changed or deleted, which is normal.
Please be assured that IObit Uninstaller will only delete the relevant files of that software, will not delete other files, and will not affect the use of the system.

Thanks,
