Threat dected in NordVPN.exe! Is it a false positive?

Tonight my anti-virus detected a threat in my VPN client, and I'm trying to figure out if this is real, if anyone else has had this issue, and what can be done about it.  I talked to NordVPN representatives on X about it, and they suggested I make sure my ASC Ultimate is up to date.  I removed NordVPN thoroughly with IObit Uninstaller, then downloaded/installed a new copy of the VPN and ASC Ultimate detected a threat once again in the same place (NordVPN.exe). They suggested I find out if others have this problem, and also do an online scan of my affected software. VirusTotal yielded 0 threat detections across 71 security vendors. So has anyone else had this problem, and/or can this be resolved?

Sorry for the issue you encountered.

Please download and reinstall the latest version of ASC Ultimate from the link below to check again.

And please choose the third option "Add to Ignore List" in the popup window to add the file to the ignore list. Then this file will not be reported again.
