Defrag

Installed latest version. Tryed to defrag game and nothing happens. Shows frag files - but does not defrag - just sits there.

Yep - Have had Smardefrg installed for a long time

I was trying to defrag my game.

But it does only analyse.

It won't defrag.

 

I try to uninstall and reinstall but it won't have any effect.

It stil standing on the same position during defragging.

 

Can you help me.

And do you have Smart Defrag installed?

I just did download smart defrag and advanced systemcare.

Installed both programm's.

 

But Gamebooster won't defrag mij combat armr eu game.

It wil be doing the analyse but not the defrag.

 

So i did all the steps

 

My boyfriend has the same problems with his game booster

Could it not be a bug or something.

I cannot recreate your situation.

I opened Gamebooster and asked it to defrag one of the games I have on my computer. (I almost never use it)

It ran the check and then said that the program wasn't fragmented.

So I could not ask it to defrag it.

I did not have any defragmented games on my machine, so I picked a random folder, in which Game Booster v1.20 found two defragmented files. Defragged without a problem. Even told me to enjoy. Not sure if it makes a difference, but have SmartDefrag installed, also.

I also cannot see the problem

Could it be that those with problems are trying to defragment a running program? Or perhaps even trying to defragment an online game?

I also think that you have to have Smart Defrag installed

Defrag

 

Have tried everything I can think of - Smartdefrag installed - took it out and reinstalled both - still will not work - shows there are files that need defrag - but will not do so. I give up

I found out, that while you have SmartDefrag defragmenting, Game Booster's Defrag seems to analyze files in a directory forever, even after the defrag process has finished.

 

So... maybe, if you have SmartDefrag installed, the Auto Defrag already kicked in when you try to defrag a game?

Windows defrag, if scheduled to run, maybe?
