when doing a scan it will complete the scan and then start another one and then another etc. i use vista home premium.

Another bug on vista home premium..When automatic scan is turned off it will still run when pc is idle.

This seems to be happening when the auto scan settings are set to "Scan when system is Idle". I set it to run a scheduled scan and it seems to be OK.

same issue here.

Problem started since last definitions update in my case.

 

OS XP SP 3 fully up to date

Other security software installed:

 

Avira Antivirus PREMIUM 9.0 + OnLine Armor premium 3.5.0.32 + MalwareBytes' AntiMalware 1.40 full commercial version + Winpatrol free and myself of course;-)

 

I tihink there is an incompatibility issue with JavaCool SpywareBlaster 4.2 too; when immunizing my computer with "Passive defense" SpywareBlaster disables its protection, I suppose it's caused by same changes to registry and HOSTS file.

I was wrong. It seemed OK at first,but it has now autoscanned 8 times in a row , even with autoscan turned off.
