Upgrade From XP to Win7

tell me would you use it?

pay $20 buck for 1 time use and then find 95 % of the moved apps not working on win 7 ? as almost nothing that is programed for XP -is going to run on 7--

that IS WHY ms PROBABLY left this out upgrade from xp--as it would put all files into a folder call win old -that the os will tell one at install cannot be used!!

i have done several upgrades --using win 7 with apps to win 7 newer builds-- and that ended in a new install -and only

comparable,and computable apps stayed the rest into the folder old--also it can not be undone!!not with the ones i have anyhow--

so perhaps this comes under the heading rip of ware ? or rouge ware ?

I think it is best when upgrading an O/S to do a clean install the risk of problems is lowered plus the clean install clears loads of unknown debris away from the system.

Just an article I saw that looked interesting.Claims the process is reversible.
