Status of translation files in ASC

Hi All voluntary translators

It seems that a lot of translation files hasn't been updated, but perhaps it is just that the date hasn't been changed?

p.s. This is primarily written so that users having trouble with their language can search this thread to see if there is an updated version here.

Hi ibraheem

Arabic - العربية

Did you save it as unicode?

Do you see it by you in the Arabic language? (which one by the way? I repaired it by me to show the Saudi Arabian language)

And finally have you sent the file to IObit? support@iobit.com

In order for them to update the Arabic language file at the next program update.

Great work by the way (very many words to translate!)

Cheers

Hi

Dear iobit Development Team:

I translated Advanced SystemCare into Arabic Language and I have attached the language file for Advanced SystemCare in this Post. Please see the attachment.

Thanks.

Hi Damned

Yes - they (IObit) apparently are a bit lax in their practice - and this could also account for some of the apparently not updated language files.

This is too bad because it sometimes gives problems for users of other languages, but on the other hand some voluntary translators also forget to update their language files.

I myself also had to remind them to update the Danish language!

Hopefully these posts here can help changing procedure and perhaps even make some of our volunteers update their language files :-)

I know that you are a diligent translator!!! (hat off to you!)

Cheers

Hi Solbjerg!

I don't know what had happened, but in the updated version of 3.5.1.707, some of the translated strings which have worked in the previous release of ASC 3.5.1.707, do not work.

Here they are:

____________

[TurboBoost_frmMain]

frmMain.caption=Turbo Boost

lbl3.caption=Turbo Boost

[TurboBoost_frmPrgrs]

frmPrgrs.caption=Turbo Boost

btnOK.caption=OK

Cheers.

Hi Ibraheem

The الخصائص of the file looks fine everything seems translated.

(I had to repair the text in order to see it in Arabic, - haven't activated Arabic in my regional settings.)

Great job!!

Have you remembered to send the file to IObit too?

Hi Viking

Please try sending the file again. support@iobit.com

And then hope it will be added in the next update. :-)

(remember that the impossible just takes a while longer :-) )

In the meantime please add/use your own language file - alternatively feel free to use my Danish translation :-)

I also found one language named Unknown - my guess is that it is the Slovene language. The autor must have missed adding that information.

Cheers (morn) in south Jutland it is called møjn :-)

Well, it looks like only some languages will be included by iobit.

Sent the Norwegian file twice, 6 months ago, and it's still not included
