I discovered this soft and used it for about one year now... with a lot of happiness !

 

Clavier allows to create keyboard shortcuts using almost any keys, including the Windows key (around the Space key).

Hotkey options

 

Clavier looks good, there are a few other free options as well.

 

AutoHotKey Very popular, it seems it can be used to do almost anything

 

PhraseExpress The one I use, more text orientated but can do many other tasks as well like launch apps etc by HotKeys and text input.

The ability to do things by text input is what I like, there are already a gazillion HotKey setups I have to remember for different software :smile:

I tried an other one, like autohotkey : Super Macro...

 

I've got a pb : I am using Audacity to record what my audio circuit play. To make this running I must use XP driver with my Vista config...because of Sygmatel audio circuit protection rights

 

I have to deactivate the driver of audio circuit then to rekindle it

 

I am not able yet to have the hand on the system in administrator of peripherals !!

I just read about speedyfox : http://www.crystalidea.com/speedyfox , a soft wich defrags databases in the SQLite format of Firefox...

 

I remember that one of us is using it...

 

I am using ASC Pro, and there is a firefox optimisation tool. So it leads me to ask a question :

 

Is this ASC tool sufficient or may I use speedyfox to accelerate the launch of firefox ?

If one knows the path to a folder hidden by this application, one can still access it. I.e. if I hide the favorites folder, one can still access it by typing: C:\Users\<username>\Favorites

 

Not good, that's why I uninstalled it a few months ago after 5 minutes of use.
