tigerx: Just curious. Does Evidence Remover calculate the file size needed or just write to disk until it runs out of space?

 

Yes, it does calculate it at the beginning of the process, but because Windows frees additional disk space, only when it can free up and only when needed, Evidence Remover cannot predict how much that space could be and goes beyond 100%. It considers the free disk space as 100% but when it is increased it increases the percentage too...

Junk Files Cleaner assumes that any file beginning with "~" is a temp file and is okay to delete. I have one application that begins it's database file names with a "~". I had to add those to the exclude list.

 

On your first few uses of Junk Files Cleaner be sure to scan the file list so that you delete only what you intend to delete.

Just out of curiosity, the additional disk space that Windows frees, does it include MFT enlargement zone?

 

If not, what will be the Revo's behaviour when the time comes and Windows uses MFT enlargement zone?
