Difference between Opera and Firefox

Hi Guys,

I am using Opera browser from last one year but my all friends suggest me to use Firefox,

So can anybody tell me what's the basic difference between both the browser?

With Firefox u can "build" your own browser. There are lots of addons, u can find everything u want in Firefox.

As Narxis says, firefox is more customizable.

 

Opera is faster though.

Now that really depends on what you're doing.For general surfing,you'd need electronic measurement to reveal any (if at all) speed difference.We can take a look at Maxxwire's comparisons in his earlier posts to show download performance and some other functions,but FF is considered by many as the "best all 'round" browser.Beware it's memory consumption though-it's a hungry little bugger.However,there are some effective "fixes" for that as well.Install it and take it for a spin-I've got four browsers-some have more :shock:

Difference is not noticeable! Chrome and Opera are a bit cumbersome!

Having tried both Opera and Firefox I am a firefox convert and have been for some time. I like Opera but I prefer Firefox. As regards IE I don't use it at all but it is much better now than in the past.

IMO:

Chrome 4 dev is the fastest but on complex graphics Opera 10.15 beta is the fastest.
