Microsoft Support on Windows 2000, XP sp2, Vista (no sevice pack)

Microsoft is going end support for Vista (with no service pack) on 13th of April 2010, and end support for Windows 2000 and XP sp2 on 13th of July 2010.

Microsoft has listed the minimum requirements for operating the Windows 7 trial here. They include a 1 GHz processor, 1 GB of RAM, 16 GB available hard disk space, and DirectX 9.0-compatible graphics device. If your system falls right around those requirements, then giving the demo a try before purchasing the full (and rather expensive) version might be an excellent idea, indeed.

i do not know or see how mutch mem you have .

you can run 512 (half a gig)

but its harder

1 gig is fine..

tell ya what i have it running on a petium 4 single core 1.33MHZ

1 gig of memory..

 

tell ya what try it...think ya find you will be ok.

now before you do

1 have you got the original disk that came with the PC.(driver and graphic card)

(CD- MOTHERBOARD)

 

if so you probably may need them for sound.and the inbuilt graphic card..

i say may.as win7 has most all computable drivers in build.

i am downloading this as well .why?
