Persistent Tracking Cookies

collie

Recommended Posts

I have the following persistent cookies (possibly in one of my registries):

user@ad.yieldmanager.com

user@adopt.euroclick.com

user@advertising.com

IS360 says that they are removed, but back-to-back scans show them to still be there.

Question: Is there a way fto configure IS360 to delete them or should I go directly into the registry and delete them (something I don't relish doing)????

Thanks,

Charlie

Hi Charlie,

Which toolbar are you using?

It is not that IS360 can not delete them, but they are created immediately.

Try going to internet options assuming that you are using IE:

IE=>Tools=>Internet Options=>add those 3 cookies to "Address of web site" box (only part after @)=>Block=>OK=>Apply=>restart IE

If that does not help, you have to uninstall the responsible toolbar, as disabling will not help.

Cheers.
