Uninstaller 1.1 tied to IE

When 'Online Help' is clicked in Uninstaller, it opens it in IE ... even though it was not running, and Firefox is my default browser!

 

Please can it be changed to use the default browser, as I do NOT want to use IE!

 

It also seems to open http://www.iobit.com/support.html and I cannot find any Uninstaller help from there at all!!

First about IObit Uninstaller as i see it currently has NO help file and for the browser problem try this link: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-vista/Change-your-default-web-browser

 

And to remove Internet Explorer completly Click here: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/957700 Hope you find your way! ;-)

As I said, Firefox is my default browser.

 

And I do not want to totally remove IE, as I do (occasionally) have to use it. The link you gave was how to uninstall IE8 (which restores IE7) ... and I already have IE7.

 

But surely IoBit Uninstaller should use the default browser, and not (somehow) manage to start IE?

That is an interesting! software, thank you!!!

 

Even locks the Task Manager if you wish.

 

Also, being an .iso file, you either burn it to a CD or use another interesting software, the Virtual Clone Drive by Elaborate Bytes to install it.
