Update data base not working

After installing ASC Pro the data will not update, no data base is listed on the screen and the history never updates, Tech support sent a fix but after restart the sme issue reacured, is there a true fix?

For your concern, you can check your Database Date and Program Version under Overview tab of ASC Pro Home screen. The attachment is for you reference.

 

You can see the latest version of ASC pro in the red area. Furthermore, I want to let you know that if you already have the latest version of 3.6.0.709, there will be no updates history.

Also, the Advanced System Care database is not updated all that frequently, many days can go by without an update.

The ASC database update will be mainly for Spyware Removal definitions but this is for the removal of 'common' (for want of a better word) spyware and so there is no need for frequent updates like you would get with anti-malware/virus software.

ASC is not, and is not advertised as, anti-malware software, Security 360 is the anti-malware software from IObit.
