Firefox Tweaks :try it..

 

FireFox >browser..

 

type about:config in the (Address bar)

look for and set them to the following settings...

1 network.http.max-connections : 32

2 network.http.max-connections-per-server: 16

3 network.http.max-persistent-connections-per-proxy:16

4 network.http.max-persistent-connections-per-server:8

ad this as well

 

about:configure in the (Address bar) > then clear it out (.blank ad bar)

next:

Right click on blank space > New,next click > Integer > type::::::

 

nglayout.initialpaint.delay > 0

 

hit enter..

then enter 0

 

if it done correctly you will see the new added entry..

check the attachment..

 

 

 

you could try this ? as well

FireFox > about:config > Filter: pipe lining > network.http.pipelining > true

 

FireFox > about:config > New Integer > network.http.pipelining.maxrequests > 8

Any tips for speeding up FF's initial launching time?

i assume we talking starting the browser?

 

do the above this will speed it up 20% faster.. (initial launching time?)

 

add the.(.nglayout.initialpaint.delay > 0 )

 

as in browsing A site loading time .java should also be of ..this helps speed as well.and turn of suggested,or rederecting.

the search en gen Google , set it to a other one.i use (http://us2.ixquick.com/) as my default search en gen.faster.than Google and more private..???

now speed as you understand vary's to what site is loaded and the display as in adds extra...but i found by adding the tweak its faster..put it this way

it will not hurt the browsing experience..

and add it.

 

its something i fooled with a long time now.. and change the inner working by tweaks,and settings..

 

like sending out and allow in..of a pc..speed depends on a user ,and its

 

. just a little FUN thing one could try..

only thing i know about this app is

 

beginning to accumulate emails , you'll need to eliminate messages in order to maintain the program's speed

mass amounts of mail can cause Thunderbird to slowly respond to commands. Compacting your messages can increase Thunderbird's performance and frees up space on your hard drive. As with any mail program, it is recommended to compact your messages monthly to keep your files organized.

 

do this..

 

1.

 

 

Open Thunderbird. Right-click the In box on the sidebar and select "Compact" from the pop-up menu.

2.

 

 

Click "Thunderbird" at the top of the screen and select "Preferences" from the drop-down menu.

3.

 

 

Click the "Advanced" button, and click the "Network and Displays" tab. Check the box next to "Compact folders when it will save over 100 KB."

4.

 

 

Change the size from 100 Kb to whatever number you wish by clicking the up or down arrow. Click the red button in the upper-left corner of the window when you have finished adjusting the compact settings.

5.

 

 

Click "OK" to save and close out of Account Settings.

6.

 

 

Purge your inbox. Click "Tools" at the top of the screen and click "Account Settings." Click "Disk Space" on the sidebar and check the box next to "Delete Messages more than 30 days old." Adjust the time frame based on your preference.

sorry that is all i do know about it

and i cant remember where i got this from..

i spoted it and copy pasted this to my files..for references...

 

 

i don't think one can make it faster than this..as i do not use it .bar 1 or 2 times a year.i never really had any interest it it..

but i shall play with it as i get time..see what i can do with it..
