Smart defrag reporting space incorrectly

I have on more than one occasion deleted a large size of files, emptied the recycle bin, and started smart defrag to tidy up the disk to find that it reports the space as if the files had not been deleted. For example just now, I increased the space from about 40 Gb to over 58 Gb, and smart defrag reports there are 41.1 Gb free (which may have been what there were before). The discrepancy persists even if SD and ASC are exited and restarted.

Which Version of SD are you using, v1.5 :?:

If so, you may want to try the new 2-beta v1.1 :idea:

And see if it does the same thing ?
