The Disk Manager is interesting. Though since it allows you to delete "rubbish" files from within the manger you really need to be able to select multiple files.

JustDave, I Agree with you and although they appear in the Recycle Bin, they should disappear from the "rubbish" list after deleting.

 

Overall, it is a very useful tool.

Yes, this is a useful tool- but I advise caution! I had to re-install Microsoft Word after deleting a .bak file for microsoft office.

I have noticed one minor glitch in AWC Pro 2.7. i have installed on 3 PC's and each time it asks to create a desktop icon, but it doesn't do it. I had to send to desktop to create a shortcut.

Is there a good reason for having the scan results posted on the website in this new version instead of inside the program or log file where it should be?

Seems its a way to breach security or something to unnecessarily have results put on a website on Iobit servers. If they are going to post HTML results it would be better to create HTML on desktop instead of uploading results to post on their pages.

Ye the Diskmanager is very good. I have just found one wrong thing oO.

When you have installed the german language at Advanced Pro there is written "Floder" not Folder XD. But its only a mistake^^

iobit website yesterday posted new update to AWC but the link takes you to version 2.7.0.0. is this a backward step as I thought 7.2. 838 was the latest?

Although it is written in the properties of setup file that the version is 2.7.0.0, either you download from download.com or Major Geeks, the AWC Personal is version 2.7.0.838 (6406 KB) as of today at 21:30 GMT.

 

The Pro is version 2.7.0.948 (7260 KB) downloadable from downlod.com or Iobit. (Setup is similar to Personal.)

The glitch you pointed out for Pro v 2.70, for the desktop icon seems to be corrected in version 2.71, but not the Floders!!!
