Where's My Start Menu?

Just installed ASC4 Free. Did full scan yesterday, then noticed all start menu items have disappeared, and no longer refreshes itself........is there a setting to fix this???????

If you have Windows-7, click Start-button, then right-click in blank area of menu space. Click 'Properties' and on that page assure proper selections

of what you want displayed in Menu.

 

The utility that may be changing them is 'Junk Files Clean' which has many checkable options that may have been activated.

(click on 'settings' in that programs bar)

Search for Start-menu related options and remove check-mark from box.

 

If you need to, you can disable all the utilities but one, by removing ckeck-marks by them, and run it to determine if it is the one.

If not, test another one.

When you locate it, change it's settings, or leave the check-mark removed to not run that one.
