ASC 4 Deep Care breaks shared network drives

Recommended Posts

I've run the new ASC 4 with the deep care option and it has killed all of the shared network drives. All three of the PC's were running Win 7 Pro and are on a domain. Anyone else ran into this? The only way to fix it is to do a system restore.

It's registry data used by netbios. I think someone else reported problems too.

I think iobit should maybe do a little more research and testing on their cleaning and optimization methods.

no problems here using w7 ultimate 32bit, network running smoothly with ASC 4.

I'm running a Network, with No problems also,

But the problem is when 'Domains' have been setup on the network.

Evidently IObit programmers did Not consider Domains in ASC or Smart-defrag programs ?

Domains add another level of complexity to Access rights and privileges.
