Advanced System Care 4 (free) appears to delete the index set up by Windows (desktop) Search 4.0. This did not happen in previous versions of Advanced SystemCare. How can I prevent it doing this? Currently Windows Search 4.0 has to rebuild its database every time I run Advanced System Care 4.

If you are talking about the Browser 'Index' then I would disable related options in 'Privacy Sweep' utility,

or deactivate the Privacy-sweep utility, by removing check-mark.

If you are talking about the MRU menu, at start button, then there is another thread on this forum about that.
