This is the same thing that happened when I acquired the latest 4 ASC.

 

Point is, I constantly check the RAM due to gaming and memory leaks on a program, so I was wondering, "how can I get SmartRAM to display numbers again?"

I think 'Active-boost' is about the same as Smart-ram,

and it loads automaticly at bootup,

if it is activated.

Sup_Smart Ram 2.0.5.12 from ASC 3.8.9 does, the Suo10_SmartRAM from ASC4(s) and ASC5 Beta don't. Why? Why hasn't this been fixed?

Why can't you use 'Active-boost' instead,

if you really Need a RAM cleaner that loads at bootup?

My guess is that the programmers thought that,

constantly displaying the RAM numbers was Slowing-down the computer Too Much,

so they took it out?

I've been trying to figure out an Easy way to test the differences in Smart-ram and Active-boost, but so far it's looking Way to Complicated. :roll:

 

Especially since I will probably Never Need to Use either one of them. :lol:

How did you Test it?

 

I re-booted and left the pc idle for awhile and nothing happens with Suo10_SmartRam and don't know what Active Boost does/did, if anything.

When I run SmartRam those high usage numbers go down, but on reboot the same high numbers appear and no Automatic SmartRam clean after pc is idle.

Yes, but that is what the SmartRam utility does Also.

I don't think ActiveBoost has much control of Processes though?

I have had a problem whereby Ctrl+C & Ctrl+V stopped working.

 

I found the resolution was to not use Smart Ram's "clean clipboard" function, clearing the box restored normal functionality.

 

Just thought I would share this discovery as it was causing me headaches and took me days to resolve, purely by trial and error.

 

I'm not sure if this problem would be considered a bug by IObit, but I don't think it is a very good implementation of the feature if it stops the shortcuts working at all.
