GB3 - Names of some games in my GameBox are wrong

Recommended Posts

For the most part my games are labeled correctly except for

TF2 -which says Team Fortress 2 Spanish

Assassin's Creed 2 - which says Assassin's Creed 2 Mac Spanish

L4D2 - which says Left 4 Dead 2 Russian

Batman Arkham Asylum - which says ShippingPC-BMgame.exe, the name of the executable... it doesn't even attempt to rename it.

I am on Windows 7 x64, English version so all of these labels are wrong in one way, shape or form. I have not found a way to rename them, which would be the best solution in my opinion. I have also had problems adding games to gamebox, they dont seem to ever be recognized and if I delete a game accidentally I am screwed if I want to get it back. The only solution that works for me is to completely reinstall the application.

Hi Axis and masterblaster,

Please kindly provide us a screenshot so that we can forward to our engineers to look into it.

Sorry, I deleted it. It really wasn't a big deal to me. I will say that the incorrect language name was applied when GB3 was installed (when it was automatically creating the shortcuts).

I had Steam create a desktop shortcut to my desktop. I dragged it to Game Box. It was titled correctly.

This is whats happening but I am fixing it by doing what the other poster in this thread said. I am deleting the badly named ones and bringing in new shortcuts. It's inconvenient and I should not have to do this.
