In 1976 Steve Jobs was working in a community type farm in Oregon, that grew apples,
and that inspired him to name the company Apple Computers.
Since to most people, in the USA, the Apple is a very Positive symbol of health.
Steve Wozniak was worried about the copyright problems, but it turned out fine.
Here's Woz talking about the $666.66 price:

We only use damp cloth,
NO chemicals!
I would not try Windex! since it's for glass not plastic.

This is a List of Run-commands that I have tacked to my wall,
and there are many more, that are not on this list, that were not in XP?
See link:
I need to find a more, up to date, complete list, to hang on my wall. ;-)
The problem is that is that if I printed out the complete list now, it would cover the complete wall, including the windows.

Here's download link for ProgDVB:
They have both 32bit and 64bit versions.
(Appears 6.72.8 is the latest version, the 6.72.3 version is an older one)

I've not used System-mechanic but I have read about it,
and it's seems that both do similar things to improve performance.
It appears that ASC has a few additional utilities that SM does not have though.
I like ASC's GU-interface much better than that used by SM.

Suggestion:
Please Add an accurate 'Registry Size' monitor,
to the 'Registry Fix' utility.
Before and After scan/fix numbers would be Great.
Thanks,
-
My only suggestion is that there Could be a Separate .exe program,
that generates the Update-message,
which could be disabled, by a check-box or by renaming it, if the user wanted to.
As is done in other software packages.
But I can certainly understand why IObit may not to go to that much trouble,
for such an insignificant problem.

In my opinion it is a good thing to let us know that a new version is available is a very good idea.
But what if you Like an Older version better that the Latest one? :?:
I'm in the same dilimma, since there were some things that changed in latest versions that really Bugs me.
(the graph-size shrinking and header-column shift at load)

Isn't that basicly what it Does, Already? :?:

I read on another forum that Spigot,Inc. is a Back-door Trojan, so be Careful. :!:

Wow, I certainly am Glad that I Don't have Any of those problems with ASC.
We must be doing something differently?

Hello - I only have one options under General for Perf Monitor and it is always checked. However, PM seems to display and disappear at random even when pinned. I, too want it there always.
Did you try making a shortcut and running it manually, to see if it made a difference?
What Other programs do you have running at the same time as PM?
Which Security program are you using?
Which Operating-system are you using?
Maybe that Info will help determine what is causing it to disappear.
-
Hi. Can someone tell me why my Performance Monitor disappears. I pin it and it's stays on the desktop but sometimes when I go back to the desktop, it's gone. Is there a switch in Pro to turn PM on/off? I have to reboot to get it to display again. Thanks.
I have tried all day to duplicate the disappearing PM flag, but no matter what I do it's always there when I look at desktop.
Only clicking the Exit button makes it disappear for me.
One differance may be that I load it manually when I load ASC, Not at system bootup.
(I don't like loading anything extra at system startup)
Is there certain software that you are running that may be doing it, such as another system-monitor or task-manager?

i just wanted to know if I should run both defrags0the seperate 2.01 smart defrag and the one included in ASC 4
There is No need to run the one in ASC if you use Smart-defrag.
Smart-defrag is a more complete and versitile program for Defragmentation.
The version in ASC is fast, easy setup and simple to use but is very Limited.
-
hello there....
what is the use of smart defrag?
thanks!
During normal use of your computer, data is stored on the hard-drive in a very Random way.
Smart-defrag moves the data and organizes it, so less time is needed to retrieve it.
So, it allows your computer to operate Faster.
