ASC 14 does not have an anti-virus.
-
I don't know the answer to that, but obviously their is something not right.
Either a compatibility issue with windows 11 or a fault in DB.
I seriously recommend that you update your realtek driver direct from the manufacturer or from Realtek.
Maybe someone from Iobit will read this post and have a solution/suggestion for the issue.

You should check your processes in Task Manager to see if any DB processes are running, even though you did not open DB.
Also check in services for a DB service that may be running.
As for the Windows settings....I am flying blind here as I do not have windows 11...but I would suggest Controlled Folder Access....Windows Security (defender) and Firewall.
-
Just download Advanced Systemcare. In the settings you can untick "run at Windows Startup"....and tick "Run Performance Monitor".
https://m.majorgeeks.com/files/details/advanced_systemcare.html
Then ASC will not be running on your system, but you will have the Performance Monitor, showing the items you want.
Be sure to ckeck the installation screen carefully, as it may include options to install iTop products, such as VPN and Screen Recorder.

Thanks for the reply.
Unfortunately, from your description I cannot determine what happened.
I have never heard of ASC removing programs and changing drive locations.
I recommend reading the Product Manuals before using products, to avoid the risk of unforseen consequences.
https://www.iobit.com/en/product-manuals.php
Good luck with your tests. I hope it works out.

Really.......this sounds like a windows issue. Have you gone through the windows settings.
I imagine there will be lots of issues with programs running on Win 11 for the foreseeable future until
the new OS is stabilised.
-
You give absolutely no detail as to what your issue is. It makes it very difficult to help you.
I assume that DB did not just remove items of it's own accord, but that you actually asked it to remove stuff, using
the System Optimise function, which either downloads Advanced Systemcare if you do not have it installed already, or runs ASC if
it is already installed.
So, if you could actually give us some idea as to what you did....what you expected to happen....and what actually happened....
then we would try to assist you.
We are not mind readers or soothsayers.
-
Did DB run ok in windows 10?....
If so, then the issue is obviously with windows 11 (which would not be surprising considering microsofts record with new OS's)
-
Why do you want to update your drivers?...
You have a high spec laptop, which you obviously upgraded to Win 11 (very brave of you)....so if you have
no issues, why risk updating drivers.
Unless you have a driver issue or the manufacturer recommends a driver update, then there is no reason to update drivers.
If it is not broken......don't fix it.
-
I am glad it is sorted for you.
-
Open Task Manager and stop the relevant processes.
Also open Services and disable any relevant services.
Then delete the folders.
-
That is your prerogative. However, I am sure that if you read the relevant posts, that you would have
the issue sorted quickly. The other posters did.
-
I repeat........Read the many posts in the Forum regarding license issues and the solution(s) for same.

You did not tell what information you needed them to give you so you could help. Some would not know what you would need to help them. The answer that i gave would have helped the user give the information that would have been required. It is better to give the user an idea of the type of information you need.
So when I said..."Maybe if you actually told us which "Iobit" you downloaded and explained exactly what the issue is,....we may be able to help you. "
you think that is not a simple question to answer.
This is my last comment on this subject..... Again I remind you that this is a help Forum where volunteers offer their time and knowledge to help others. It is not a kindergarten where we should explain to every poster for every issue, exactly how they should write their post in order to get assistance.
It is both common courtesy and basic intelligence to supply the necessary information and detail in order for others to assist you.
There are also FAQ's and instructions on how to use the Forum. Most people are too lazy to put the effort in.
So, I recommend that you find some other way of relieving your boredom and stop criticising.

It must be wonderful to have so little to do, that you have the time to explain to others how they should
conduct themselves.
The OP in this Topic did not even bother to answer my request for information. On most other Forums, the Moderator
would have simply deleted the Topic.
A full two months later...Mistigush happens upon the Topic and decides -(probably because they had nothing better to do)-
to make a comment, which in no way helped the OP or any other User.
Then Redfan decides to add his two cents worth to the issue....again with no help whatsoever to anyone.
This is a help Forum....We are volunteers, trying to help others. If insufficient detail is given by a User looking for
assistance, they will be asked to supply same. If a User does not reply, then their issue will be ignored.
Simple.

That was a burn and surprise he did not respond to that burn.
Maybe consider your reply the next time a person goes out of their way to ask a question.
Many people do not like asking questions as it is incredibly hard to accept you cannot fix a thing yourself.
Try to be a bit more diplomatic in the future.I will immediately rush off and learn how to be more diplomatic...
Just to make you feel better about yourself.

You give very little detail, which makes it more difficult to assist you.
Did you get any other information, other than "Update Failed"
Did you open AOEMI Backerupper and see if you can manually update.
Did you go to the Aoemi site and see if you can update.
This would at least determine if the issue is with AOEMI itself or with Software Updater.

Read the many posts in the forum regarding licensing and purchase issues, and the solutions for same.

If you want assistance, then,Post in the correct (relative ) area of the Forum.
Your issue is not a General Forum Item.
Also. do not use extra large text with huge line spacings.
Your post will be removed from here shortly....

Go to C\Program Files (or Program Files x86........and delete the relevant folders
also go to C\Users\name\appdata\roaming....and do the same....
