Then the IObit team should add a slider during a full scan to adjust priority. (Higher priority will increase scan speed but consume more resources, lower priority would be slower but uses less resources).
that's a good idea
-
yes it shows 3.3 while I already have 3.4 :?: Why's that?
Btw I don't like the idea of using g+ community instead of iobit forums for beta testing
-
extra security features would make it the best all in one package
-
If there were some changes in asc v8 it would be the best ever performance utility
-
keeping more than one antivirus on a system is not safe for security purposes.
-
Well, I have a simple suggestion about the Performance Monitor.
The transparency should be adjusted together with the notifications instead of the main GUI. (Or completely independently if it is OK with the coders.)
For the users having Performance Monitor on the desktop all the time, it will be convenient to have it more transparent than the main GUI, as one can use the main GuI transparency as they wish at the same time.
In that way, it can be adjusted so that the transparency will be the same as the gadgets' transparency if a user is using sidebar gadgets.
FYI, it is even possible to install gadgets to Win8 and Win8.1 easily. (Certainly the security risk being at the risk of user.)
Cheers.
I agree its a good suggestion

The Performance monitor still opens the ASC window rather than performing a scan in the monitor itself I hope that in the next version my recommendation will be given a little value.:cry::cry:
yes its a better idea to have the scan option launch quick scan without opening asc but that can only happen in v8 which is totally going to be the best I suppose
-
yes that's good to give the user a choice
-
is there a hardware acceleration feature?
-
Thanks for reminding me. Everything is working perfect now.
good to hear that
-
I would have liked to test it if it had firewall facility and identity theft protection
-
Please solve this problem in the next version [thread=16043]Pinned icons[/thread] It's still continues to confuse :cry::cry:
-
cause you're still in beta and not 7.0.5(maybe)
-
Wow would be nice to see the new SD3's brand new capability
All the best
-
Still the issue of pinned icon prevails to confuse :?:
-
Frankly I feel the "Action Center" is too prominent...
you can hide it
-
some of my friends think there should be a homscreen of asc or ascu like imf 2 with tiles to tab but imo this is great
-
Hi dev3,
Thanks for your suggestion. I will report it to our product team for consideration.
Wow, I like the skin of ASC Ultimate v7. Do you like it? ;-)
Great to see a brand new design
WOW:smile:
-
I think I* have pro, I have paid for it and I had ASC6 Pro but the ASC7 does not say pro. The only way to tell if you paid for it at the home screen is instead of a upgrade yellow button there is a manage license link.
Is there a way to add a PRO to the paid for version?
Is your license outdated :?:

Are there any other known issues? because I run 64bit also but I try to only run google, IE10, Lunarscape.
I have not had any issues
system info bugs, browser identification problems in homepage protection and I don't know about pro edition and 64bit bugs like opera for I have 32bit Win7 with ie 11 and chrome canary
Hope these get solved soon  Look at my previous thread system info shows wrong info.
-
It would be great if it had firewall system built in
Maybe boot time scan options for virus as well.
-
When will the system info bug be changed?
-
By default chrome opens new tab  you can change it in options
-
The installation confused me when it got to the point where it said "You have to uninstall a previous version" or something like that. The only option at that point is to close the GUI or click okay or whatever it said. When I clicked okay it finished the installation but didn't remove all the ASC 6 folders/files.
When I read the message based upon experience with updating other software I thought it was just telling me that if I proceeded to install ASC 7 all previous versions would be completely uninstalled by the installer. This was obviously not the case.
So I wound up uninstalling ASC 7 using the IObit uninstaller then reinstalled V6, then uninstalled V6 using the IObit installer and then reinstalled V7. All the ASC 6 folders/files are now gone at least under Program Files (x86).
As far as CNET goes. I will have to use ASC 7 for a while and then I will think about it.
To be really honest no software removes the folder it was installed in after uninstallation or reinstallation. Only IOBIT uninstaller's powerful scan removes it or you manually remove it.
