Thanks for your question. In ASC v7, we make improvements. You know sometimes users feel that the notification will disturb them. Thus, in ASC v7, only when the auto clean function help you clean the junks more than 150 MB, you will get the notification.;-)

So now I get it notifications are only for 150mb and more. For this if there would have been a priority setting as to how regularly you want to see notifications it would be easier

I have been using Advance System Care (ASC) for ±the last 4-5 years when it always kept my computer I tip-top condition.

I am also using Chrome as my preferred browser.

However, I could never understand why my settings on Chrome keep changing. Specifically to carry on where I left off with my last browsing session.

My computer at work does not change settings even after I sync from home, but not settings.

Lately my default browser keeps changing to Yahoo. I have nothing against Yahoo but I do not want it, cannot delete it from the browser list because it will be back next session - as the default browser.

Now I have lost Chrome from my browser list. Doing another sync from home - this time on the settings also - I now have a problem at work also.

After much trial and error, uninstalling software etc. I Isolated ASC 7 as the culprit. What a disappointment.:shock:

After excellent results from many futures, ASC changed my browser settings and I cannot find where to change settings in ASC to stop this.:!:

Am I missing something.:?:

You can uninstall the add on in chrome :smile:

Under settings/notifications, have you ticked the box for autoclean and set the duration time for the notification.

I've already told you I have ticked all notifications checkboxes, taskbar is visible, auto clean is on. Still no notifications. Why? :?:

Anyone knows how to make these auto clean notifications appear :?: BTW(I've ticked the box and taskbar is visible, auto clean is turned on) :smile:

If the UI of ASC was like IMF with color then it would be 10/10 in looks now its 9.5/10 :grin:

For users like Ashish Kumar and all those who would like to download everything at once even if its a huge file, then a offline setup if made could be better. But choices could be given to users whether they want only asc and will download tools later or if they want to download everything at once. But this might just not be a good idea for some users. Lets see what they choose.

ASC v7 final version will be released soon. It really took a long time, for we always want to make it perfect. :wink:

For the issue about Tools in Tool Box, what dev3 said is quite reasonable. If add all the tools in the setup, the setup will be too huge. It will take a long time to download. For your conserns, once you use the tool, it will be launched on your PC and you can use it without network. Besides, users is online at the most of time and the have the right to choose what they really want. Certainly, your concerns are reasoable, but we need to find the banlance.

When I click the scan button in the performance monitor it launches the ASC window. So why not add an internal quick scan in the performance monitor rather than to open the ASC window. It would be way lot cool if a quick and basic scan could be performed in the performance montior itself. It would facilitate the user to perform a basic scan for a quick boost.

I don't nearly get all the time I need or want to work on keeping up with our computers. I came into work today at 2am to get this all done, thank God the phones aren't ringing yet! :-D

Maybe you should report the programs with their names as false positive.:grin:

You know when you are offline and don't have and internet connection at that moment then when you want to use a particular tool then it is very annoying to see the message "Please check your internet connection and try again".

 

It is better to download all at once than to download all in installments.:-):smile:

If you do not want to install a toolbox tool you don't have to this way :mrgreen:

the problem is it doesn't show suitable drivers for my pc's specs the ATI(now AMD) driver shows error on installing

I can but it will say that several programs I have and use are malware and deletes them. I have to stop and zip whatever I don't want to use. I have several security protocols that I need that were written for my company and running it from start-up is great but........

I need to be able to add exceptions unless you want to help me rewrite my security software, afterall you are the best!!!!!

I have it on start-up on my other computers which works great with one minor exception of Driver Booster, posted properly.

Which version are you using? Try using the latest beta v4.

That wont change the fundamental elements of the screen like loations of the button.

Moreover every time i try to edit a skin the skin file gets corrupt may be because i don't:-D know much about skin editing.

Yes that can't be changed this moment, you're right. It requires advanced Photoshop skills in doing that. The location can't be changed.

You can also create own ui for asc 7 using skin edit.

Hey I am talking about the tools in the toolbox.

They don't come included not all of them.

When i click the tools in the toolbox the it is first downloaded the it is launched.

I am saying that all those tools which have to be downloaded could be included in the setup itself.:-D:-D

But this would make the setup huge to be downloaded. :smile:

I think that ASC7 3.0 is a little slower but I think it is due to that the program catches twice as much error's and bad things we do not want on our system.

 

I still am waiting on a solution to adding exceptions to ASC7 so I can use program without 30 minutes of prep time before I use it. I would like to run it on automatic but sadly cannot. Please help! :roll:

 

I love adding new clients to my Company 7 more computers that will be running ASC7 & Avast Antivirus.
