  4. l I do a hard reset. I have tried to unistall and reinstall the program as well as windows, with the same results. I am having the same issue with smart defrag 5, but I am able to use driver booster 5 and Iobit uninstaller. No other program on my pc besides the two Iobit programs are having this issue. I had the same versions, the newest ones, on my pc before I originally reinstalled windows 10. But after I installed the fresh copy of windows, those two programs will not work and have the same freezing issue.

  6. I'm not computer expert but doesn't doing a boot time defrag with a hard drive that has over 375GB of data take a bit longer than 30 seconds.
  7. Yes, to the best of my knowledge there should be no problem with compatibility mode, but as you say it will disable realtime protection. You may decide that this suits you, and have one running realtime protection and then run the other once in a while as a double check. I run one AV and one Malware Program with realtime protection, and of course I have ASC for all the performance and cleaning jobs. But as I said previously, this whole AV program chooosing is a very personal matter and requires research and testing until you find the ones you are happy with. Some people choose ASC Ultimate because it has everything in one package and the feedback is very positive. I wish you well whatever choice you make.
