Anomalies in Junk File removal

Recommended Posts

Junk file removal fails to delete C:\users\var\appdata\local\Microsoft\Windows\exploter\ththumbcache_48.db. Was that intentional?

Junk file removal clams to delete files in C:\users\var\appdata\local\Microsoft\Windows\INet Cache and C:\usersvar\appdata\local\Microsoft\Windows\IE.

But there are no such directories or files, neither before nor after Junk runs. It is not as though you are simply checking for files that exist only on other OSes from Windows 10. Was geht?

Hi Roedy Green,

What do you mean by 'But there are no such directories or files, neither before nor after Junk runs'? Please provide us more details or screenshots related to it.

And please download the tool from http://testdemo.iobit.com/InfoHelperV9.exe. Then double click to run this tool on the PC with problem and click "Save report". After it finishes, you will get a pop up window to tell you where the report file IObit_Debug_Info.zip is saved. Click "OK" button to open that saved folder. Please send the zipped file to us so that we can get the detailed information to look into.

Thanks.
