The malware database update is 38 MB and it is fairly frequent. You might consider downloading a delta if the user already has the recent database. This would cut down tho size of the download considerably.

Currently we do use the downloading a delta method of updating database. As to the 38 MB database issue, how long since you download the last update? The 38 MB may resulted in the previous database were accumulated.

 

If you update everyday and still get a 38 MB database, please download the tool from http://testdemo.iobit.com/InfoHelperDumpV9.exe. Double click to run this tool on the PC with problem and click 'Save report'.

 

After it finishes, you will get a pop up window to tell you where the report file IObit_Debug_Info.zip is saved. Click 'OK' button to open that saved folder. Send the zipped file to us so that we can get the detailed information to look into.
